Universal weatherstrip is usually made to be thick, bulky, and adaptable across many vehicles. That creates problems on the Gladiator JT because the door openings have tight seal paths and limited space for added material.
This system is designed around the Gladiator’s actual door sealing problem: missing body-side sealing, lost door seal compression, and dried-out OEM rubber contact. The goal is controlled seal interaction — not oversized rubber, door fight, or trial-and-error weatherstrip.
